Ilha Grande, off the coast of Brasil, has wonderful nature spots, and the beaches on its northern side are world-famous, in particular the beach known as Lopes Mendes. To reach it you have to either take a boat or make a long walk. We decided to walk, and this is a view from the path leading to Lopes Mendes. It's shot with Nikon's amazing 14-24 f 2.8 mm, and my Nikon D700. The lens is heavy and bulky, but the quality makes it worth to lug it around!
