Traditional tuna fishery is based on the use of "tonnare", large labyrinths of nets in which the tuna are trapped and then surrounded by boats and fished out with spears. During winter, boats are stored in the buildings shown here. Even if no fishing takes place here since a few years, the "tonnara" still hasn't lost its charm.
